Sculptra in Helena, MT
Sculptra is an aesthetic injectable biostimulator. Sculptra is used to restore facial volume loss due to aging or illness. It is a collagen stimulator, not a facial filler. Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which is a biocompatible substance that stimulates fibroblasts which in turn stimulates collagen/fibrin and elastin production. Sculptra can be used to treat deep lines, creases, and folds to give you a more youthful appearance.
At Fyre, we plan on offering personalized body contouring services tailored to each patient’s unique goals. Our body contouring options encompass treatments for booty enhancement, cellulite reduction, and overall body rejuvenation. These procedures stimulate collagen production, leading to improved skin texture, tone, and volume in the targeted area.
Sculptra is injected deep into the dermis and gradually improves the affected area. The Sculptra process takes several weeks to begin the production of your own collagen. You can see results as early as 4 weeks but will see the full effect between 6-8 months. Since it is your body that is naturally being stimulated to create lost collagen you will see natural looking results that will have people wondering if you look younger.

FAQs
- Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen. It restores volume while tightening and thickening the skin.
- Sculptra® is not like a regular hyaluronic acid filler that immediately volumizes and gives visible results right away. With Sculptra®, you’ll see a natural filling effect within the first couple days, followed but a decrease in volume. At this point, the body slowly starts to produce its own collagen, re-establishing volume that has been lost over time.
As explained on the Sculptra® website, “Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist. The specialist injects treatment within the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support your skin’s structure. Over time, Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body reproduce lost collagen. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost.
Noticeable results are usually visible within 3-4 months.
Results can last from two – to five years. Maintenance treatments can further extend the benefits.

Sculptra typically involves minimal downtime, with mild and transient potential side effects, such as swelling or bruising at the injection site.
- Fillers are gel substances, like hyaluronic acid, that diminish lines by pushing up the dermis space beneath wrinkles and creases. Results appear immediately and can last up to several months.
- Collagen stimulators are used to diminish facial wrinkles by helping to restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin. Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically three injections over the course of three to four months) and can last up to two years.
Before the treatment, avoid blood-thinning medications and inform your practitioner of any allergies. Afterward, follow post-care instructions provided by your practitioner to optimize results.
- The treatment involves the injection of Sculptra into targeted areas. While discomfort is minimal, a topical anesthetic may be applied for added comfort. The procedure generally takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the areas treated.
